Baker's Kitchen.
2006.charcoal, conte on paper. 22" x 30". Private Collection. This drawing is part of a series that depicts the actual kitchens of a variety of people. I asked participants to prearrange their kitchen in such a way that it could function as a portrait of themselves. A collection of baskets hangs from the ceiling, while canisters of ingredients stand along side a bowl and a mixer on the counter. |
