Cherry Paintings

Guarded. 2010. oil on masonite.
22" wide x 32" high x 1/8" deep.
$600 (includes shipping throughout continental USA)
This line-up of cherries seems large and crowded in the confines of their box-like shelves. They all seem to be gesturing to the door, which is only partially open. It begs the questions; What is hidden behind this door? And, do the cherries want us to see, or are they protecting that space? The masonite panel is unmounted and is meant to be hung flush against the wall to further accentuate the illusion of 3-dimensional space.
